The National Crime Prevention Strategy of the Government of Canada, in collaboration with the Minister of Public Security (Québec), have encouraged the development of this program through financial assistance and also supported the evaluation of Alternative Suspension.
The program has also obtained the support of Human Resources Development Canada, Heritage Canada, Centraide, the Foundation of the Greater Montreal YMCA, Fonds jeunesse Quebec and the City of Montreal.
